This is my first pattern!

This is a patchwork cardigan with garter stitch knit squares with single crochet boarders.

I’ve written the pattern to have squares with 18sts x 28rows to fit a size Medium, but you can size it up by adding 1x stitches and 2x rows. Example: 20stst x 32rows for size L, or 22sts x 36rows for size XL.

Requires 400g colored yarn (for your squares), 200g white yarn (for your boarders, could also be a different color if you’d like), US size 9 straight and size 8 circular knitting needles, US size H crochet hook, and 4 buttons.
