Do you have 25 gram of sock yarn or more around? No ideas what to make of it? Look no further - here’s a sweet little garter stitch scarf to tide you over!

The pattern repeats are easy to remember and it’s ideal for quick gifts and commuter knitting. Not to say instant gratification!

The Lytel scarf grew out of a desire to use up the remainder of a skein of sock yarn. It’s knit in garter stitch until halfway through the yarn before decreasing, thus maximizing the potential of your skein. The pattern includes instructions for knitting it as a triangular shawl.

Sport weight yarn can also be used, and I recommend a 4.5 mm needle for this.

Materials used:
Fingering yarn 110 yards – 1 skein
3,5 mm needle
Darning needle and marker

LITLA SKJERFI

3,5 mm liten rundpinne
Stoppenål og 1 maskemarkør
