The Madison Hat playfully works together components of two traditional colorwork patterns: the snowflake and argyle. Knitted in the round from the bottom up, the hat features a double-thick brim, a dose of Kitchener stitch and folding in the construction of the top, and can be finished with either a pom-pom or tassel. The pattern makes either a child’s small (S) or large (L). Finished measurements approximately 16 (20)”/40 (50)cm circumference, 7 (7.5)”/17 ½ (19)cm tall.

Size S: 1 ball/skein of each color for MC, CC1, and CC2.
Size L: 2 balls/skeins of MC and 1 ball/skein of CC1 and CC2
