This design is beginner friendly. The half-double crochet gives the bag a simple and elegant look. The colour combinations give the bag a fall feeling, but use the colours that match your own style. You can also use yarnscraps or try using the same colour but in different nuances.

Colourchange in this pattern happens at the end / beginning of a row. Add the colour at the last stitch at the end of the row. The ch 2 at the beginning of the next row is made with the new colour. Cut the old colour and tie the two yarn ends together. Crochet the yarn ends into the work next row to avoid weaving in ends when the project is finished.

Alternatively can the colourchange happen by cutting the yarn in the first row, and adding new yarn to the second row - then skip making the ch 2 at the start of the row, as written in the pattern.

The handle is very durable and you can safely transport your stuff sustainably. It is reinforced with extra rows on both sides of the handles.

The pattern is divided into smaller parts to make the pattern more understandable. If there is not given a colourcode on a row, it means the colour from the previous row carries on.
