The Meadow Cardigan is a design that has been in my head for a long time and I am beyond excited about how it has turned out! This cardigan is a raglan worked from the top down. The “meadow motif” is made up of 6 stitches and 7 rows and uses puff stitches and front and back post double crochet stitches. There is a very helpful stitch diagram included in the pattern to help you along the way. After the body is finished, a ribbed edging is added to the bottom, up the right hand inside edge, around the collar and the down the left hand inside edge. The sleeves are stitched directly onto the cardigan body starting on the WS of the cardigan. Another meadow motif will be created at the bottom of the sleeve using the same 6 stitch motif. For the larger sizes, a decrease row before the ribbing will ensure a tight fit around the wrist.
