By the gentle movement of waves, the changing colours of the sea, and those slow Mediterranean days when time seems to follow nature’s own pulse.

The pattern moves gently along the leg, with shifting textures and delicate lace-like details that echo the movement of water and light.

As the sock turns towards the toe, the pattern continues across the instep while the sole is worked in soothing stockinette stitch.

The heel is worked as an afterthought heel, making it possible to enjoy the pattern uninterrupted while knitting the sock. The instructions guide you through the transition to the heel step by step.

The pattern is written for three sizes: 35–36, 37–38 and 39–40, and is designed to be worked on 2.5 mm needles with fingering-weight sock yarn.
