An easy, mindless hat, “The Merry go round”, is a great beginers hat. The repetition of a very easy sequence of stitches makes this the perfect hat to knit, while the spiral crown adds an interesting final touch.
The pattern is inspired by the wheat fields of “Castilla La Mancha” area.
Depending on the length of the body, the hat can be knitted as a slouchy or beanie
The yarn I used, a 100% merino yarn from DehesaLana, is an ecological Merino wool from native sheep of the area of Extremadura. This is a heavy weight, non-superwash yarn ideal for textured knitting projects.
