“Where are you now? As I’m swimming
through the stereo
I’m writing you a symphony of sound
Where are you now?
As I rearrange the songs again
This mix could burn a hole in anyone
But it was you I was thinking of”

Andrew McMahon - Jack’s Mannequin

Inspired by a mixtape soundtrack to your life, this cowl is meant to use up any leftovers or advent minis to create a one of a kind cowl. It is the perfect mindless TV holiday knitting, as it is knit in the round like one big sock. Holding the two yarns together creates a marled effect. Use as many or as few minis as your heart desires - fade them or stripe them, it is entirely up to you.

Note: This pattern is for a one size cowl but is very easily adapted to being a longer cowl that can be looped around your neck if you wish.

Yarn:
Annie Paaren, Hampton Base Fingering (80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon) 420 yards.
Colorway: The One (Folklore Collection)

Minis: Woolberry Fiber Co. Road Trip Collection 2020 (10 minis total, 10g each). (any Woolberry Fiber Co. advent minis would work)

Techniques used in this pattern: Holding yarn double to create marled effect, mattress stitch (youtube tutorial including in the video), knitting in the round.

It is a simple pattern with a lot of heart and I hope you enjoy knitting it.
