The Mordy Beanie is named for a Bayside suburb of Melbourne where my family have increasingly found ourselves spending leisure time over the 2021 lockdown periods. Mordialloc, called ‘Mordy’ by locals, is a lovely suburb which has a perfect balance of beach, parks, ice cream, and the cafe culture Melbourne is famous for.
