This pattern is for a slouchy hat that is made up from a variety of patterns and stitches that gives it a very detailed look. It is also a one size fits most from children - adult with an “extra slouchy” option to make hat a little longer for larger heads or just if you like it a little bigger.

This pattern has been tested by many people ranging in experience from beginner to 40+ years experience. Based on the size of yarn used, hook size, and amount of detail I would rate this pattern as intermediate however the beginners were able to complete the pattern with only minimal help.

For this pattern I used Loops and Threads Woolike yarn size 1 which is superfine and a 0/2.55mm hook but gauge is included so you may used whatever yarn/hook combo you can to achieve correct gauge. With the suggested yarn the hat is worked with 2 strands of yarn. I suggest to minimize tangles to use 2 skeins instead of trying to use both ends of 1 skein. This pattern only uses a partial skein of yarn.
