Construction:
The bag is worked from the base upward. The body is crocheted in a continuous spiral, then divided to form the straps, which are worked flat and shaped before being joined. Edging and ties are added at the end, and the bag is then felted to its final size.

Using an 8 mm hook

Suggested yarn: non-superwash 100% wool suitable for felting, in the heavy aran to bulky range (approximately 100 g / 100 m / 110 yd).

Testers used a range of yarns, including DROPS Snow, Hobbii Snowstorm, Pre- mier Yarns Stitch Please 100% Wool Chunky, Patons Classic Wool Worsted held double, Manos del Uruguay Wool Clasica, Noro Haunui, Knit Picks Tuff Puff, and other similar feltable wool yarns.

The exact amount may vary depending on yarn choice, tension, color distribu- tion, and felting. Felting results may also vary between colors and dye lots, so making and felting a swatch before starting is strongly recommended.
