This pattern recipe gives you some freedom – the freedom to use your favorite heel, adjust to your favorite sock length, and experiment with different colors. The colors I chose are perfectly Autumnal – they represent my favorite season so well! The 3 row pattern repeat, which I’m deeming “the woodland pattern”, is really just a mixture of seed stitch and stockinette, but reminds me of the floor of the woods in Autumn. Brown with bits of color from fallen leaves. Bumpy at times from fallen limbs, rocks, and roots, yet soothing.
