Size guide:
The sweater should fit with 17-22 cm of positive ease, meaning it is
supposed to be oversize and loose-fitted. It should be around 20 cm larger
in circumference than the circumference of the person you are knitting this
for. The sizes XS, S, M (L, XL. 2XL) 3XL are designed to fit a person with
80-85, 86-90, 91-95( 96-100, 101-109, 110-115) 116-125 cm circumference.
Although if you want a tighter or looser fit, you can choose to knit a bigger
or a smaller size according to your preference.
Also, according to the pattern, it is cropped, so it will not reach your hips. It
is supposed to end around your waist or so. As people have varying torso
lengths, I would suggest trying the sweater on while knitting the body, so
you can have just the right length for you.

general information about working the pattern:
This sweater is worked from top to bottom in the round. Begin by knitting
the neck edge, which then will be folded over.the next step is working raglan
increases down the yoke for the shoulders. During these increases you will
work the yoke pattern in fair isle. After finishing the increases, put the
sleeves and the back on stitch holders. Then, the front pattern will be
worked flat using the fair isle technique again. After the front pattern is
done, you will then work the back panel until the same length as the front.
add the back stitches to a circular needle, and knit the rest of the body in the
round. After the body is done, the sleeves will be worked. Pick up stitches
from the stitch holders and from the under-arm, and work the sleeves in
the round using the magic loop technique (or using DPN’s if preferred).
Then just to finish up, you will close the holes on either side created while
working the frontal pattern.
