The Nightshade Tank
This top is constructed from the bottom up. Ribbing is worked in the round on a smaller needle size, and the straps/cups are worked back and forth on larger needles. The straps are seamed using three-needle bind-off, then an I-Cord trim is worked for a polished and non-curling edge.
A short I-Cord is picked up and worked in the back between the shoulders to create a more stable top and to prevent the straps from slipping.
21 sts x 29 rows = 4”/10cm on US5 (3.75mm) needles and DK weight yarn.
Please check your stitch/row gauge before beginning, otherwise your top will end up larger or smaller than intended. Change needle size if needed.
