The Ooze Monster Doll
Learn how to make your own adorable Ooze Monster with this digital crochet pattern, which comes with a 22 page PDF document in full color with detailed instructions and tons of large, clear photos. You’ll also find a handy list of all the materials needed to make the doll. This pattern had been fully tested by a team of talented crochet artists. The Ooze Monster Pattern is written in English using standard US crochet terminology. The pattern uses 2sc to indicate an increase in sts, NOT “inc.”
Example: (sc 4, 2sc) 3x. This means, single crochet four, then make two single crochets in the same st. The parentheses means to repeat the sequence of “sc 4, 2sc” and “3x” indicates that you should repeat what’s inside the parentheses three times.
Suggested fiber type is 100% acrylic or chenille/velvet yarn. This pattern can be sized up or down by changing the hook and yarn choice. For the tutorial, I used velvet yarn so that’s what I’ll list below. Some other yarn brands I’ve used with this pattern are Premier Parfait XL, Premier Basix Chenille and Red Heart Super Saver.
The doll can be weighted in the fingers and toes using garden marbles or your choice of weights. He gives AMAZING hugs if you make him in blanket yarn and add marbles!
I pack my patterns full of images with helpful graphics, so you understand what the heck I’m talking about, and I’m always around to help if you get stuck. Send me a message on Etsy or email me at Topstitchescrochet at gmail.com

Pattern Skill Level: Intermediate. You need to know how to work into the back of a starting/foundation chain in order to make an oval. You also much be familiar with sewing crochet pieces together.
