Such plans I had for the year 2020. Such plans we all had. Seeing my eldest walk across the stage to collect her degree. Traveling to her new city for her new job. Spending holidays with extended family and friends. But not 2020. The year of COVID-19. Rescheduled and cancelled plans, sick and dying people, economic insecurity for many…overall disappointment for most of us. Only minor disappointments for the lucky ones. But in the face of this negativity, I cannot forget all the wonderful events of this year. I don’t need to flash an extensive list in front of you – you know what you have to be grateful for – I certainly do, and I never forget it, nor take it for granted.

So, here’s to optimism – here’s to looking forward to a better year and a better future for all of us. Here’s a glass half full from a simple knitwear designer who is grateful to be in your life. Cheers!
