A cultural juggernaut, Star Wars has enchanted audiences for over forty years with its classic tale of good versus evil. When A New Hope burst onto the scene in 1977, science fiction was largely considered to be the domain of nerdy comic book-reading boys. But audiences from all backgrounds found someone to relate to in Star Wars—a farm boy with big dreams, a forward-thinking princess, a ne’er-do-well smuggler—and pretty soon Luke, Leia, and Han became household names, along with terms like lightsaber, the Force, and Jedi. Shattering box office records for decades and pushing the envelope in technology, the series has now expanded to include spin-off films, novels, games, and multiple critically acclaimed TV series, making Star Wars one of the biggest—and most beloved—pop culture franchises today.

Featuring key elements related to the Jedi order like lightsabers, exploding stars, Master Yoda, and the Jedi Order symbol in stranded colorwork, this top-down garment starts with the yoke before splitting for the sleeves. The colorwork pattern continues past the armholes, then the body is worked in stockinette. The sleeves are also worked in stockinette. Block and wear proudly!
