This beanie is created to have a uniquely bulky and lace look to in. A unique pattern with simple lace structuring makes this the perfect pattern for someone who is looking to try out lace, but is intimidated by larger projects with finer yarns.

This beanie is made to be fitted. The final item is designed to fit the average woman head size. Options for two different yarn sizes are provided with this pattern.

Techniques used in this pattern that you should be familiar with include: Purl, Knit, Purl together, Knit together, Yarn Over, and a more unique stitch that I have provided both photo and video tutorials for (and I promise it is not hard to master!!). My support is also offered with purchase of the pattern if you run into difficulties.

Items you will need to complete the pattern includes 10mm Circular Needles (or DPNS if that is more comfortable for you), in the length that you enjoy best to create hats. Majority of Bulky or Super-bulky yarns are compatible with this pattern (Size 5 or Size 6). Some yarns ideas include Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick, The Wool and The Petite Wool, just for example.
