The Pebbles Sweater was inspired by a stream my own kids play in during the summer and fall. You always need a good sweater in the mountains, even during the summer months, so it’s designed with aran weight yarn both for warmth, but also so it can withstand the play of kids. Made with Lion Brand Wool Ease, it’s also washable.
It’s a simple raglan design that is knit from the top-down, and then has a seed stitch panel along the side of the body. You then have your choice of either 1x1 ribbing or i-cord to finish off the neckline. This classic design fits well with both girls and boys of any age.

The Rowley Sweater is the adult version of this design

This pattern is Easy-Intermediate in difficulty. Intermediate techniques and stitches used include: i-cord, picking up stitches, back-loop cast on, kfb, ktbl, k2tog, and k2tog tbl. All techniques are explained in the pattern, except for picking up stitches.
