Peplos is the perfect transitional garment to add to your handmade wardrobe.

Designed to evoke the traditional peplos of Ancient Greece, this vest drapes and accentuates the body at the chest and natural waist for a feminine and functional Spring staple. A soft cotton and linen blend combined with simple stitches lend to an approachable design for the beginner garment maker.

Peplos is meant to be worn with three to five inches of negative ease at the bust. To find your size, take your bust measurement and choose a size that is three to five inches less. If you are in between sizes, choose the larger of the two.

Example, if you have a 40 inch bust, you would choose size L (37 inches final). All measurements are taken after blocking.

Finished Measurements (Inches)

Bust 25 29 33 37 41 45 49 53 57

Stitch and row counts are listed according to size (XS, S, M) (L, XL, 2XL) (3XL, 4XL, 5XL). I strongly recommend highlighting your size throughout the pattern before beginning.
