This pattern is my new favorite go-to for last-minute Christmas projects. I’ve already made three this holiday season and am working on a fourth! It takes me about three days to make one up—though I’m sure some could do it faster—so it’s perfect for when you’re coming down to the wire but you still need to spread a little more handmade love around. The thick, wooly (but not rough) yarn is played to its best, squishiest strength in the 2x2 ribbing, giving you double the warmth and closing up potential air holes. Even better, one skein makes a scarf so long it can be wrapped around the neck twice and still have tails!
