The Pine Ridge Mittens

These Mittens are attractive, relatively easy to make, a quick project, and super practical due to the thick fabric created using the pattern stitch.

You may also want to check out The Pine Ridge Toque, available in my shop (teen/adult size only).

This is an intermediate level pattern, but an advanced beginner could figure it out. Youtube links are provided in the pattern for certain stitches and concepts.

The suggested yarn is a DK weight (3). I used Knitcrate Audine Wools Calm (80% wool/10% mohair/10%silk)

These mittens should fit a range of hands from pre-school age children up to adult men.

Sizes included are:

Size 1: 5-6” hand circumference/5” from base of palm to fingertips (250 yards)

Size 2: 6-7” hand circumference/6” from base of palm to fingertips (275 yads)

Size 3: 7-8” hand circumference/7.5” from base of palm to fingertips (300 yards)

Size 4: 8-9” hand circumference/8.5” from base of palm to fingertips (325 yards)
