This was my KIP for a while, during the summer. And I spend oh so many hours at the playground, watching my kids do all kind of dangerous stuff with swings and more. So what better name then The Playground Shawl!

Before blocking: appr. 52 cm x 160 cm / 20.5 inch x 63 inch.
After blocking: appr. 60 cm x 175 cm / 23.6 inch x 68.9 inch.
You can adjust the pattern to get a wider or longer scarf; I will explain how to customize.
If you make the size that’s indicated you’ll need:

Yarn: 9 balls of aran weight yarn (approx. 807 yards/740 meters).
The model is shown in Carezza from Adriafil 70% angora, 10% wool, 20% polyamide; 91yd / 83m per 25g ball.
Needles: 1 set US # 8 / 5 mm straight or circular or other size to obtain gauge.
1 tapestry needle.
