This cowl is perfect for anyone looking for some extra warmth this winter. I recommend using alpaca or an alpaca blend specifically so that you can keep all of that warmth in and take advantage of the double thick fabric. I used yarn from a local farm (Appalachian yarn co), but recommend using the Juniper Moon Farm Herriot as the MC and Spin Cycle Dream State as the CC for a light variegated effect.

About:
The diamond motif on the cowl is directly inspired by the etchings on the bottom of works of pottery, meant to keep the clay mounted during spinning and the corrugated rib was selected for its structure and warmth. During the writing of this pattern, I was pregnant with and gave birth to my first baby. He is the little clay to my Potter.
