The Prayer Shawl
The Annual Pink Ribbon Luncheon in my area is highly successful and the committee asks me to donate a prayer shawl every year.
The shawls are special to me because they are my way of helping the local hospital and those in need will know someone is thinking of them. Prayer shawls aren’t just for the sick. They are donated often through churches for not only the sick or injured, but also christenings and weddings.
This one is inspired by the snow we recently received in my area and reminds me of the reflection of stars and the cleansing hope that reflects on the soft crystals around us.
