The Quinlan Blanket
A portion of this pattern’s profit will be donated to cancer research, facilities, etc. Please follow me on Instagram @SundaeYarns and I will give updates about where they go every single month. These donations are to honor my grandmother, who inspired this pattern, who recently lost her battle with cancer.
This pattern will guide you through the steps to create a beautifully textured yet classic throw, perfect for the couch, a bed, or anywhere you want to get comfortable! This piece is inspired by my grandmother, who had a deep love for her home and the comforts within. She taught me that the work that goes into making a home your own is what makes it more than just a house, and her appreciation of incorporating personal style has been passed down to me. Her love for creating was evident throughout the house and has inspired me ever since I could remember. Our family is dealing with recently losing her, and I have decided to take the creative route. We were very close, and she always encouraged me to keep making. This one is for her, her love for home and comfort. This one is also a part of my healing process. I dug deep and worked to capture her style. This piece is appropriately named after the street where her home was. I hope this cozy piece will bring as much joy to you as it has for me.
Before the pattern, there is a tutorial included to show the steps of the star stitch. There are several pictures to help guide you along with way if it is new to you or you need a refresher.
