The Realm of the Dead. For this pattern, we wanted gothic with simplicity. After knitting a few of Louise Tilbrook’s highly addictive shawl pattern Fuss Free Festival Shawl, we’ve been obsessed with shawls that are knitted sideways. So not only is this pattern a tribute to Anubis, it’s a tribute to the designer Louise and her addictive patterns.

This pattern has been re-released by Countess Ablaze in Spring 2019; it was originally part of The Classics Society, a yarn subscription box based upon the ancient world.
