Construction:
-The Ribbing hat is a piece of art, knitted in round from the bottom up.
-It has a crown shape, knitted by special decreases.
-This knitting pattern is pretty straightforward. There are no difficult stitches involved, no complicated math, and only standard knitting techniques. So, it’s well suited for advanced beginners who want to explore the beautiful world of tubular objects.
-This hat is in the round. I leave it up to you to decide on either the magic loop technique for circular needles or the traditional method using double-pointed knitting needles.
-First, you will cast on the required number of stitches. Next, you will knit the ribbed body, you will choose if you like it to be folded or unfolded brim, it’s up to you. Then you will knit the crown by following the pattern of the decreases section. Lastly, you will sew together the remaining stitches by pattern.
