The Ribbit Tee
The Ribbit Tee is an advanced beginner crochet pattern. This pattern is made-to-measure, but also includes recommendations for achieving a more form-fitted tee if desired. The front post stitches used to create this pattern inspired the name for this design, forming a ribbed look on both the front and back panels (hence, the Ribbit Tee!). If high necklines are your thing, you’re in the right place, as this attribute and its edging give this tee a finished, eye-catching look <3
This PDF crochet pattern includes written instructions and step-by-step visual guides, as well as a YouTube tutorial that teaches you how to crochet the chainless foundation stitch required to start each panel. All of these components are meant to improve comprehension during your creative process!
Crochet level: Advanced beginner
Sizing: Made-to-measure (must be comfortable with & accurate in taking body measurements!)
Materials:
• DK or Aran weight (3-4) yarn
* For my original prototype, I used a 4mm hook and roughly 985 yds of Stylecraft Special DK yarn in Shrimp, plus roughly 105 yds of contrast color
* In addition, on the last page of this pattern you’ll find yardage estimates for each of my testers’ versions to get a better idea of yardage requirements!)
• If DK, I suggest 4-4.5mm hook; if Aran, I suggest 4.5-5mm hook
• Measuring Tape
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Darning needle
This pattern is written in English, using standard US crochet terminology
