The Rivoli is a baby / toddler / young child’s pullover that’s knitted top down. At the underarms stitches are placed on holders for the sleeves, then the body is continued in one piece. The sleeves are then worked top down too and are seamless.

The yoke is worked using the brioche technique and knitters need to be familiar with this. Skills needed: brk1, brp1, brkyobrk (for the increase). It would be a suitable pattern for those who would like to practise knitting brioche two-colour in the round.
