This lightweight triangular shawl incorporates two distinct cable and cable lace stitches. It is knit top down, and the stitches cause a pretty and delicate scallop at the neckline. The outside (edge) cable makes this triangular shawl truly unique). While the shawl looks difficult to knit, it is not hard, and is suitable for Intermediate knitters.

The pattern contains instructions for two different sizes. The smaller one is the one shown. There are also instructions for an optional crochet edging.

The stitches are charted out and written out.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming some lace experience)

The sample was knit out of Lorna’s Laces Solemate yarn, in colorway Periwinkle. The sample was expertly pattern tested by Aaron Atwood, who can be reached at: eochdubh.pooka@gmail.com.
