The Rocky Hills Shawl is a triangular shawl knit in a combination of subtle texture and delicate lace. It is easy to wrap around and light enough to carry along with you. The lovely tones of hand-dyed yarn colors play along with the modulating patterns on this shawl to bring to life the beauty and mystery of the rocky terrains. The shawl grows with each pattern to depict the silent, towering hills for as far as the eye can see.

This shawl is a neat little learning tool, packed with techniques like simple lace, slipped stitches, simple cables, and triangular shawl shaping. The varying stitch patterns and color transitions will keep the knitter engaged throughout. The patterns are easy to remember after a few repeats of working them. There are written and video tutorials provided to help the knitter along the way.

The test knitted shawl size is approximately 52” length along the top edge, and approximately 26” depth along the center spine.
