This hat is designed for a region that gets particularly cold winters. I wanted something that felt extra cozy and warm but that would hold up better than some bulky yarns do.

• Yarn is held double
• Hat is worked circularly from the bottom up
• Tubular cast on is used but not required. If you wish to use another cast on method you will cast on twice the number of
stitches listed for tubular cast, join in the round, and then work 2x2 ribbing.
• All stitches are slipped purlwise unless otherwise noted
• Both charted and written instructions are provided
