This jumper is the partner to my Rosie jumper (Go check it out!)! I wanted to make another super simple jumper for my partner (We don’t believe in the sweater curse here!) This jumper can be made super light weight (Choose a lighter Aran - 200m plus per 100g) or slightly heavier and warmer. It’s a unisex jumper, there is no shaping in the body so it’s straight up and down, which makes it a very easy knit. The sleeves are shaped and increase gradually up the elbow. This pattern is probably an advanced beginner or intermediate level of difficulty. If you want an oversized fit I would size up 1 or 2 sizes. I would also suggest measuring both your chest and hips and using the larger of the 2 measurements as it is knitted in a circle shape and the body has no increases or decreases. This pattern goes from 30 inches to 56 inches at 2 inch intervals, and the measurement is the actual size the jumper will measure. I would recommend if you measure yourself and then go to the size up, for example if you measure 42 or 43 inches, knit the 44 inch pattern. The trickiest bit of this pattern is the joining at the yoke, if you follow the instructions exactly then it won’t be too tricky.
