(From the pattern introduction:) How often has this happened to you? You’re fleeing the neighborhood zombies. You reach home just ahead of the pack, charge up your front steps…and realize your house key was left behind in the jacket you squirmed out of to escape their clutches. You’re locked out. The zombies eat your brains.

Ward off this annoying post-apocalyptic scenario by knitting and wearing this headband or hat with a secret inside pocket for your valuables. As long as you keep your head--literally speaking--you’ll be fine.

Hat calls for two skeins of the background color (black) and one each of the contrasting color. Headband needs two skeins of the background color (purple) and one of the contrast.
