Yarn Requirements:

Approximately 200 yards in MC (blue) and 50 yards in CC (white) of worsted-weight yarn for mitten.

These mittens have an optional lining worked in a silk/mohair blend. Any soft fingering or lace weight yarn is suitable for the lining.

These mittens are knit at a tight gauge for maximum warmth. I’ve designed them for both warmth and comfort: Peace Fleece supplies the warmth, and the Neighborhood Fiber Co. Loft lining supplies the comfort (and increases the warmth!). Wearing these mittens is like petting a kitten!

I designed these mittens to match The Russians cowl after a lot of positive feedback about how warm it was in Chicago winters!
