This gorgeous scarf is named for one of my favorite literary characters of all time: Scarlett O’Hara. Not only did I spend a lot of time making this scarf while watching Gone with the Wind, but it also reminded me so much of the character of Scarlett. It is eye-catching, but classic; it is warm and cozy once it is finished, and honestly, it took a lot of patience to bring this one to life!

It is recommended for ANY medium/worsted (4) weight yarns (Caron Simply Soft Tweeds was used for the one in the images). Required hook size and approximate yardage are specified in the pattern. The finished size is approximately 11” tall; the circumference depends on you! This pattern is versatile for everything from cowl to a multi-wrap infinity scarf.

The pattern is written for intermediate level knitters. You must be able to cable (or willing to learn on your own!) to successfully complete this project. The pattern has been extensively tested by dedicated individuals to ensure that it as easy to understand as possible. Written stitch explanations are provided. It is written in US terminology.

Please feel free to message me if you have ANY questions regarding the pattern or if you need help with it! I’m happy to explain anything you need. It looks daunting, but once you get the hang of the repeats, you won’t even need the pattern!
