Yarn: Yardage will vary based on foot size, and taller socks will require more yardage.

Main color: Approximately 300-400 yards/100 grams of fingering weight yarn

My samples were knit using Yarnaceous Fibers on the Salta Fingering base (85% Superwash Merino, 15% Nylon).

Sizes: S (M, L) based on foot circumferences of 8-9” (9-10”, 10-11”) or 20.32-22.86 (22.86-25.4, 25.4-27.94) cm.
Please note these are based on foot circumference, not shoe size. Choose a size with 1-2” or 2.5-5 cm of negative ease to get your best fit. You will knit to the length needed for your foot length.

Needles: US 1/2.25 mm 9” circulars, plus US 1/2.25 mm needles with a long cord to close the toe, or the sizes needed to meet gauge. You’ll also need a cable needle, DPN, or I chose to use my second set of US 1 needles (used to close the toe) in place of a cable needle.

Notions: 4 stitch markers (BOR & halfway markers should be distinct), waste yarn or stitch holders, darning needles, scissors, sock ruler (optional).

Gauge: 32 stitches, 56 rows over 4”/10 cm in stockinette
