The Shire Vest is a feminine vest worked in double seed stitch. With its flattering square neckline and fitted cut, it is inspired by the bodices worn by the female Hobbits of the Shire, such as the lovely Rosie Cotton. It is perfect over blouses and dresses!
It is worked in one strand Athena and one strand Mohair Silk, creating a cozy yet luxurious fabric.
The vest has a decorative faux button band, and is worked bottom up in the round until the armholes, then back and forth.
