These cute little fingerless wrist warmers were inspired by “The Great 88” beanie published by Espace Tricot. After finishing the hat, it just felt like needing a matching companion.

The wrist warmers are worked similarly to the beanie with 3 yarns held together: a DK base to give it stability, a Mohair for some warmth and fluff, and a Sequin yarn to make it bling. It features a twisted ribbing at the wrist end as well as at the top for a clean finish and to keep the wrist warmers in place. The body is worked in plain stockinette. To make room for the thumb targeted stitch increases are created for a seamless thumb opening.
