This beanie is knitted flat, using 2 straight needles, making it perfect for beginners, or experienced knitters who haven’t mastered circular knitting needles, or for knitters like me, who just prefer straight needles.

This pattern is waaaayyy easier than it looks, with a 2-row repeat for the brim, making it a different take on my other pattern “The Simplest Baby Beanie”. This version uses a simple stitch that is so rarely used to give you a ribbed brim like no other.
