To make this epic snurse, you’ll need the following materials:
Worsted weight yarn (approx 500 yds of the main color and 350 yds of the accent color). 100% acrylic is recommended.

• Crochet hooks size: 4.00mm, 4.50mm & 5.00mm
• Tapestry needle
• Locking stitch markers or pins
• Sewing pins or locking stitch markers - Gem-tac or E-6000 to glue the eyes on if using glass eyes
• Two 12mm glass eyes (shown on the wide-headed red snake) or two 6-8mm round black safety eyes (shown on the narrow-headed king snake)
• To make the purse lining, you’ll need: - ½ yard of cotton fabric, 14” zipper, thread that matches the color of the fabric/zipper AND thread that matches the color of the purse itself, and a hand sewing needle.

Pattern Skill Level: Intermediate to advanced. Beginners are not recommended for this project due to the special stitch on the bag and the amount of sewing involved.

Size Info: Snurse is 34” tall including the strap. The actual bag is 10” tall and 12” wide. The length of the strap is adjustable by changing the length of the belly panel and the space between Bends 2 & 3 on the snake’s body. There are not instructions written into the pattern to resize the strap, but there’s some information included if you want to try it yourself.
