The Snow Hat is a cute and stylish hat with beautiful cabled details. It starts with a Long Tail Cast On and is knit in the round from the bottom up. The hat has a folded cuff with double knitting at the fold edges. As a result, the fold sits three layers thick against the head, providing excellent warmth.

100g of DK Weight Yarn 250m/100g
The samples are knitted with one skein for each hat „Cashmerino“ by Featherfinyarn in color „Latte“ and „Espresso” (80% Virgin Wool (Merino), 20% Cashmere)
Note: If you want to work with a different yarn, you may need a little more!

Needles
Note: Always use the needle size that gets you the right gauge!
3.5mm / US 4 circular needles with a cable of 40 cm for the brim
4.00mm / US 6 circular needles with a cable of 40 cm for the main part
4.00mm / US 6 double pointed needles or a circular needle with a cable suitable for small circumference knitting for the top of the hat
cable needle in size 4.00mm / US 4 (if using)

Gauge:
22 sts x 26,5 rounds in cable pattern on larger needles = 10x10cm
21 sts x 31 rounds in stockinette sts on smaller needles = 10x10cm
washed and blocked
