This worsted weight cowl and hat set is warm enough for winter, yet not bulky and heavy, perfect for springtime too, hence the name, Somewhere Between (Winter and Spring). This easy colorwork cowl and hat is a fantastic stash buster, you can pair any 4 colors together that you like, and because of the gentle transition between colors, you do not ever have to carry more than 2 colors across a row, making it an easy pattern to try for first time colorwork.

This set can also be adjusted to use different weight yarns, by adjusting the needle size or casted on stitch amount.

Skill Level Needed: Beginner. Working in the round, reading charts, stranded-colorwork.

3 different colors of Worsted or Aran weight yarns:

  • Main body color (MC) – about 75
    grams
  • Color 1 (C1) – about 25 grams
  • Color 2 (C2) – about 25 grams
