This is an Icelandic style jumper, knitted in the round seamlessly from the top down. The stranded colourwork goes all around the shoulders and after separating the sleeves continues on the sleeves and the body for a bit.
The pattern idea is by Juan Camilo Linnares Lopez who assisted me a lot creating this pattern.
This is the Ice Version of the Song of Ice and Fire collection and is a very warm, bulky version with a rolled neck and rather fitted dimensions. For a more loose and lighter fit see the Fire Version.
Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL)
Chest circumference: 73 (90,107, 110, 127, 133) cm/ 29 (35, 42, 43, 50, 52) inch
Yarn: Bulky yarn, 12 ply
I used Álafosslopi and Léttlopi held double in the colours:
Álafosslopi 9974, light grey tweed (approx. 500g)
Álafosslopi 9964, golden heather (approx. 100g)
Álafosslopi 1234, blue tweed (approx. 200g)
Álafosslopi 1232, artic exposure (approx. 100g)
Léttlopi 1404, glacier blue heather (held double) (approx. 50g)
Needles:
5 mm circular needle (US size 9)
5,5 mm circular needle (Us size 9) for the colour work
4 mm circular needle (US size 6) for the neck
Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain the correct gauge.

Happy Knitting!
