The heart motif on these mittens breaks through the braid in the cuff, creating interesting detail.
They are thick and warm in dk, with a double cuff and generous fit so that you can comfortably spread your fingers.

The pattern is appropriate for intermediate colorwork knitters. It includes instructions for the braids. The chart is color coded.

Size:
Women’s medium. 10cm, (4 inches), wide. 26.5 cm, (10.5 inches), length from cuff to tip.

I used approximately: 132 meters, (144 yards), of white and 164 meters, (180 yards), of red. Testers used less.

Errata:
Inner Cuff: Paragraph 3 should say, “On the next row, Knit, following the chart color pattern for row 17, but working it from left to right.
