This pattern produces a round carpet that is 190 cm in diameter.

The carpet is made in a circle, but at the end it becomes a spiral to avoid that ugly seam that runs along the beginning/end of the round.

I used about 1500-1600 meters of cotton string (5 mm thick) and a 9 mm crochet hook, which is size M or N in the US. The whole work took me 8-9 hours.

You can use any yarn, but remember one thing: the crochet hook needs to be almost twice as thick as the yarn!!! If you use a yarn of different thickness than my 5 mm cord then the diameter will change, but I can’t predict by how much.
