This beautiful cowl is a great Mommy & Me project! (or sisters, or auntie and niece, or bffs, or grandma and grandkid…you get the idea ;))
This cowl is made using the star stitch, worked in back and forth rows and seam at the end. Included in this blog post is a link to my step-by-step photo tutorial for how to crochet the star stitch!
This pattern calls for Caron x Pantone Bamboo, but Caron Simply Soft would make an excellent substitute.
Sizes included are for Child (4-12) and Adult. I used a full skein (3.5 oz) for the adult size and 2 oz for the child size.
Other materials needed are:

  • 5.5mm (I) crochet hook
  • scissors
  • darning needle
  • phone camera… to take a picture to post to Instagram so you can tag me (@3GenerationsStudio) so I can see & share your beautiful creations!
