Description:

This easy pattern is beginner friendly and includes instructions with charts for a cozy hand-knitted, stretchy hat with a single or folded brim. It is knit in the round in light bulky yarn, such as Malabrigo Mecha, and features a simple slip stitch pattern on the brim, crown and randomly throughout the body, if desired. Your choice! The background is reverse stocking stitch and also looks good without the ‘star drop’ design, giving you even more options. Pattern also includes a blank chart providing the option to plot the ‘star drop’ design yourself, making this pattern interactive and truly unique to you! Your family and friends will be impressed with your creations! It makes the perfect gift though I suspect you will want to keep at least one for yourself!

Pattern is written in standard US terms. It is worked in the round using knit, purl and slip stitch. Pattern also includes instructions for working in reverse, for those who prefer knitting to purling.

One size fits most teen-adults. Beanie fits approximately 18-22” head circumference.

Skill level:
Easy pattern that you make yourself. Suitable for knitters with only a little experience, this pattern results in a beautiful hat with a stunning crown that looks more complicated than it really is. No pompom required!
