My name is Emma Clarke & I am the creator, maker, and artist behind Lovingly Kind.

This is the first project that I have ever written down and gone through the endeavor of creating a pattern. I feel so thankful for being at a place in my craft where I can create freely, with ecstatic exploration.

A theme of this pattern for me has been tributing a revolution within my creative process. I hope when you make this piece, you seek the same expansion. Be free, mix colors and textures, try stuff that you might have to take out and grow, push past, EXPLORE!

When thinking about yarn for this project, I encourage you to reach for your stash, for things at thrift stores, and sustainable materials. I deeply enjoyed getting to use this pattern as a stash thrasher, allowing me creative leadership in mixing, matching, and cultivating the colors and textures of this piece.

This pattern is also an ode to all left-hand crocheters. I see you, this one is for you!
